31.08.2010 All-Russia competition for journalists Every Drop of Water Matters! results were published today.






August, 31st, 2010, Moscow. All-Russia competition for journalists Every Drop of Water Matters! results were published today. Competition has been organized by UN Development Program and "Coca-Cola" company within the frames of the joint project on water resources preservation. The competition in partnership with magazine "Vokrug Sveta", was supported by magazine "Foto&Video", the Union of Journalists of Russia and Club of regional journalists. UNDP has received 197 works from 65 authors from all the country.



The winners in three nominations are



The best article:



1. Galina Avtushko, Sankt-Petersburg (Mercedes of the Utilities)



2. Sergei Parfenov, Yekaterinburg (Risky turn)



3. Olesya Bauman, Kyzyl, Tyva Republic(Is it possible to drink water on tub in Kyzyl: from a source to a teapot) and Yuriy Yeldyshev, Moscow (a cycle articles on water)

1. Oleg Pchelov, Rostov-na-Donu (A drop of life Chechnya)







2. Alexander Kovyazin, Armavir, Stavropol krai (Aquarium)

The first place winners will go to a press tour to Baikal on September, 3rd. The participants of the competition who has taken the second and third places in three nominations will receive nice useful prizes.
